Mannings Heath is a delightful West Sussex village, about two miles east of the market town of Horsham. The village has retained its history, and has a lovely old pub called The Dun Horse Inn with stained glass windows advertising an old Brighton brewery. Mannings Heath has a local village store, and also a garage with small shop as well. There is the Church of The Good Shepherd which was built in 1845, and the village has a lively community.
Mannings Heath is home to one of the best golf courses in the area, located in 500 acres of Sussex downland. Two different championship courses and a clubhouse that dates back to the 17th century make it the ultimate destination for golfers. Also situated in this beautiful West Sussex countryside are Mannings Heath Hotel and South Lodge Hotel, which are both ideal venues for weddings, conferences or romantic getaways.
The larger town of Horsham offers an extensive range of shopping and other amenities, and has a main line station with services to the coast and Gatwick Airport and London Victoria/London Bridge. There is also good access to the major road and motorway network via the A24.
