Itchingfield is a quiet hamlet, four miles to the west of Horsham town centre. Within the hamlet there is a 12th Century church of St Nicholas and a primary school catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11. The surrounding countryside provides some excellent walking and riding, and there are some excellent golf clubs in the area.
Close by is Christ's Hospital School, which has Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club within it, and this is open to members and non members. Locally, Horsham has an excellent range of shops and other facilities including banks, post offices, churches of several denominations and various local state and private schools, including Christ's Hospital, Farlington and Cottesmore School. There are many different sporting and social activities including the cinema and theatre complex and Horsham park with swimming pool and leisure complex.
Just under a mile away there is a main line station at Christ's Hospital, linking the south coast to London Victoria and calling at Gatwick Airport and Horsham.
